Contrary to what other sites are reporting, 19-year old pregnant Jourdan Dunn will NOT be participating New York's Fashion week. Dunn is currently 5 months pregnant. Rumors started after her comp card was added in her agency's show package. However, The Cut confirmed that a representative from Women agency in New York confirmed the she will sit this season out.
As of now pregnant supermodel Gisele Bundchen-Brady will be participating in Fashion week.

If this is what I can expect from Carrie Bradshaw in 2010, I'm sooooo excited. Sarah Jessica Parker was seen filming scenes from Sex In The City 2 in New York this past week and she looked amazing! She first appeared in a white Halston Heritage dress, Solange Azagury-Partridge necklace, Chanel clutch and sparkling gold Christian Louboutin pumps. Later that day she reappeared in another Halton Heritage dress of cobalt tiers paired with T-strap pumps.I just love Carrie Bradshaw-Preston! Now I can't wait to see Samantha Jones in action!

I'm not a guy so I can't see why Jordans are so highly coveted. I mean grown men camp outside of Foot Locker just to say they had the new Jordans first, like they wont be on sale the next day. I guess I would camp outside a store for the new Christian Louboutins, but I'm sure Neiman Marcus will NOT be having that. Plus Victoria Beckham probably had them a year ago.

One of the most notable shoe releases of all time has now come, the re-retro'd Air Jordan XI Space Jam. The Black on Black Jordan XI, according to my 14-year old football playing cousin, is one of the most prized holy grails in the sneaker game. Excuse my lack of enthusiasm. This is the same shoe that Michael Jordan wore during the 1995-96 NBA Season and to win the Championship and to become NBA Finals MVP. I'll tell you one thing this isn't the same shoe that will make you millions like Michael so whats the point?

This shoe retails for $300...Really?? It just looks like the patent leather Jordans I wore in high school to gym class....

Has anyone been watching the Real World 22 in Cancun?? One of the house mates Jonna (Jon-nae) is making it hard for me to watch the show. Her hair is so coarse and unkept I have to change the channel. Jonna is a very pretty girl. She has captivating blue eyes and beautiful skin, but that head.....CHILD PLEASE! Somebody please get her a Luster's No-Lye Super Perm, and make sure she has enough for touch ups! I can clearly tell she grew up white washed but there is no excuse for going out the house everyday looking like that. She even tried to put weave pieces in her hair but the silky weave just hangs from under her coarse hair that sticks straight out in the back. The coco buds around her hairline are not acceptable. Even if she just used a brush once in awhile she might be ok.

Please take a look below. Jonna is the light skinned African American girl at the table. I just CAN'T with her until she gets that head fixed.....

Comedian Chris Rock explores the sociological phenomenon of "Good Hair" and what it really is. African-American's have dealt with this issue for years and Rock's documentary exposes how black people see themselves and how other races see "Black" hair with a comedic twist. "Good Hair" got rave reviews at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and I can see why...I was cracking up just watching the trailer (shown below). Rock teams up with celebrities such as Nia Long, Lauren London, Raven Symone, and the king of perm himself Al Shaprton, to bring you the reality of what African-Americans deal with on a daily basis when it comes to their hair. "Good Hair" hits theatres October 9th, 2009. I can't wait to see it!!

Short Stacks: America's Next Top Model Cycle 13

For the first time America's Next Top Model is looking for models who are SHORTER than 5'8". ANTM Cycle 13 will premiere this fall featuring models ranging from 5'3" to 5'7" in height. Ok, hold on Tyra, I looked at the pictures and all of the models have super thin bodies (no plus size models this season), and they all are wearing skintight pants and hiked up in sky high stilettos, creating an elongation effect. So this season doesn't seem to be so much about short girls as it does about making shorter girls look like they are truly tall in stature. Any hoo I commend Tyra for giving models of all heights, shapes and sizes a chance at their dreams.

This season will not feature their usual supermodel judge. Paulina Porizkova will be replaced with guest judges every week, such at Lauren Conrad, fashion designer and formerly of 'The Hills", and Kim Kardashian of nothing because Kim doesn't do anything, at least not anything relevant.

Honestly I was over this show two seasons ago, but I have to admit I will actually watch this season.

Elle, 46, stepped out in another of Victoria's designs for the second day in a row, as she headed to work in New York yesterday. Too bad Elle looks way better in the dress than the designer.
