Has anyone been watching the Real World 22 in Cancun?? One of the house mates Jonna (Jon-nae) is making it hard for me to watch the show. Her hair is so coarse and unkept I have to change the channel. Jonna is a very pretty girl. She has captivating blue eyes and beautiful skin, but that head.....CHILD PLEASE! Somebody please get her a Luster's No-Lye Super Perm, and make sure she has enough for touch ups! I can clearly tell she grew up white washed but there is no excuse for going out the house everyday looking like that. She even tried to put weave pieces in her hair but the silky weave just hangs from under her coarse hair that sticks straight out in the back. The coco buds around her hairline are not acceptable. Even if she just used a brush once in awhile she might be ok.

Comedian Chris Rock explores the sociological phenomenon of "Good Hair" and what it really is. African-American's have dealt with this issue for years and Rock's documentary exposes how black people see themselves and how other races see "Black" hair with a comedic twist.  "Good Hair" got rave reviews at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and I can see why...I was cracking up just watching the trailer (shown below). Rock teams up with celebrities such as Nia Long, Lauren London, Raven Symone, and the king of perm himself Al Shaprton, to bring you the reality of what African-Americans deal with on a daily basis when it comes to their hair. "Good Hair" hits theatres October 9th, 2009. I can't wait to see it!!

For the first time America's Next Top Model is looking for models who are SHORTER than 5'8". ANTM Cycle 13 will premiere this fall featuring models ranging from 5'3" to 5'7" in height. Ok, hold on Tyra, I looked at the pictures and all of the models have super thin bodies (no plus size models this season), and they all are wearing skintight pants and hiked up in sky high stilettos, creating an elongation effect. So this season doesn't seem to be so much about short girls as it does about making shorter girls look like they are truly tall in stature. Any hoo I commend Tyra for giving models of all heights, shapes and sizes a chance at their dreams.

This season will not feature their usual supermodel judge. Paulina Porizkova will be replaced with guest judges every week, such at Lauren Conrad, fashion designer and formerly of 'The Hills", and Kim Kardashian of nothing because Kim doesn't do anything, at least not anything relevant.

Honestly I was over this show two seasons ago, but I have to admit I will actually watch this season.

The checks from "The Practice" must have stopped rolling in, because appearently Lara Flynn Boyle could not afford to buy a pair of shoes to fit the longest toe I've even seen, so she just went barefoot to a recent red carpet event. YIKES!!!

Naomi Campbell's recent fashion spread in Harper's Bazaar has raised some eyebrows, mainly because she is running around in Africa being "one" with the animals. Some people believe the pictures are very racist.  When I saw the pictures I liked them, until I saw the one where she is playing jump rope with the monkeys...I had to Celie side eye that picture.   

I wasn't sure if I should place this in the Fashion section since technically she doesn't have any clothes on but hey what the hell. Heidi Montag-Pratt and her annoying husband Spencer Pratt are back at it again seeking as much publicity as they can get. They are riding this 15 minutes of fame out to about 24 hours aren't they. In the September issue of Playboy, which hits the stands August 14th, Heidi bares it all including her sex life with Spencer.

She tastefully positions herself so that you can't see much, but I actually kind of like them. Take a look...

When Victoria Beckham unleashed her designs on the fashion world, she pleasantly surprised and silenced her critics. And now it seems that Elle Macpherson, the Australian model famous for her endless legs and surfer girl attitude, has emerged as the former Spice Girl's number one style stalker.

Elle, 46, stepped out in another of Victoria's designs for the second day in a row, as she headed to work in New York yesterday. Too bad Elle looks way better in the dress than the designer. Maybe if Vicki had a cheeseburger or two, she might fill out the pencil dress. She just looks like Skeletor in a pair of YSL pumps.

This simple black frock retails for  £1,750, thats $2,500 USD. A source told Mail Online that Elle has snapped up no less than five of Mrs. Beckham's collection which sold out almost immediately when launched in London earlier this year. Demand for the collection is so high and the waiting lists are so long that the dresses are not 'gifted' to celebrities.
